I recalled Wilke's work from a mixed-media class I took about 10 years ago. I love the playfulness of some of her work, particularly these pieces that are drawn from performance (as in the veil portrait).The side-by-side photos of her "beautiful" body and her mother's following breast cancer are rich with stories, upon stories.
